My mother embroidered six of these squares and I am contemplating how to set them into a quilt. I think I'll use assorted blues for sashing. I'm thinking of using yellow fabric for the corner squares. Then, she and I will quilt it together and we will end up with a beautiful, meaningful keepsake.
